Hear Deel’s $14m winning pitch to A16z on TechCrunch Live

Startups

Deel’s timeline is impressive: Founded in 2018, entered YC and raised its seed round in 2019. In 2020, the company raised a Series A and Series B. In 2021, Deel raised its Series C and Series D for a total amount raised of $629 million since its founding. And on April 20, co-founder and CEO Alex Bouaziz is speaking on TechCrunch Live.

While studying at MIT, Alex Bouaziz and Shuo Wang started Deel to help companies hire remote workers. The two met at MIT and experienced this pain after founding an earlier venture.

We hope you’ll tune into the April 20 episode of TechCrunch Live to hear from Alex and Anish Acharya, general partner at a16z and the lead investor on Deel’s Series A. We’re excited to hear how Deel pitched itself to a16z and what lessons Bouaziz and Acharya learned along the way.

TechCrunch Live records weekly on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. PDT/2:30 p.m. EDT. Join us! Click here to register and gain access to Deel’s pitch deck, enter the pitch feedback session and access the livestream where you can ask the speakers questions.
