Never mind the Switch 2, Nintendo launches a $100 sleep-tracking alarm clock

That Nintendo gadget that showed up on the FCC’s site last month is sadly not the Switch 2. While the gaming giant confirmed in May that a Switch successor is, indeed, in the works, fans are going to have to settle for Alarmo.

The $100 motion controlled alarm clock brings sounds from titles like Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey to the realm of getting one’s butt out of bed in the morning. It tracks sleep patterns and adjusts alarm sounds between Steady and Gentle modes to wake you up from pleasant dreams about a new console.

It’s up for preorder for Switch Online subscribers and is set to ship in early 2025.
